First came American Idol, then The Voice, now a new singing sensation will be crowned this August, when Air Bud Entertainment, releases their latest movie, Pup-Star! The family friendly, film gives a dog-filled spin on reality singing competitions when a pint sized Yorkie, Tiny, goes on a cross-country journey to compete in the ultimate singing competition for dogs.
After auditioning for the hottest dog signing competition show around and landing in the finals, Tiny the Yorkie, is dog-napped and may miss her shot at fame. It is only with the help of her new friend, Charlie, a retired rock-and-roller, she escapes and the two set out on a race against the clock to make the final show in time. Along the way they find more furry, four-legged, friends who help Tiny find her voice and inspire her to never give up on her dreams.
Pup-Star, is the newest movie from Air Bud Entertainment, most famously known for the original, talking dog "Air Bud', and 'Disney Air Buddies' franchises. Pup-Star is sure to delight with 13 original songs and the biggest cast of talking and singing canines ever on screen.
Pup-star's leading lady, Tiny, is voiced by America's Got Talent alumni, Kaitlyn Maher. Other voice talent for the movie include, Makenzie Moss, Jed Rees, Carla Jimenez, and David Deluise. Robert Vince returns as director and writes and produces with Anna McRoberts.
Today, when finding entertainment the whole family can enjoy together can be difficult, Air Bud Entertainment has made their mark creating fun, inspiring movies that are perfect for all ages. Pup-Star is in select theaters now and will be available on Digital HD exclusively on FandangoNow August 30th.
